The Römrfels is a striking colored sandstone rock in the mixed forest on the ridge next to the high mountain, which can be safely climbed over ladders. It overlooks the surrounding forest and allows a 360 degree view of the Gerstel / Dahn, the Altdahn castle group, the Eyberg, Edersberg, up to the Wegelnburg and the Hermersbergerhof with Luitpoldtum in the opposite direction to the north. Be careful with the stairs with children, but also doable for children.

The Roman rock is hidden in the high mixed forest on the ridge of the high mountain. It is easily accessible via beautiful paths and the Dahn circular hiking trail. A steep steel ladder leads to the first paragraph, then another ladder up to the small viewing plateau. There and in the area of the ladder there are signs for the typical Elwetritsche, which have one of their habitats around the Roman rock. Fantastic view of Dahn, the Edersberg, Eyberg, Lachberg and the Altdahn castle group. To the north you can see the Luitpold Tower.

"On the opposite part of the rock there is a meeting place for internal family meetings and smaller group meetings. Protected from predatory game and anechoic, with a view of the country.
