Also this rock can be climbed through quite steep stairs (almost ladders). The view is worthwhile!

The Römerfels is a striking red sandstone rock that is freestanding in the mixed forest on the ridge next to the Hochberg and can be safely climbed using ladders. It towers over the surrounding forest and allows a 360-degree view of the Gerstel/Dahn, the Altdahn castle group, the Eyberg, Edersberg, up to the Wegelnburg and the Hermersbergerhof with Luitpoldtum in the opposite direction to the north. Be a bit careful with children on the stairs, but also doable for children.
