From a seating area, a breezy little bridge leads to the front crag of the Hahnfels, to which the rock owes its alternative name "bridge rock". The view from the more than 30 meter high rock tower extends to the Alsatian border ridge in the south, to the Altdahn castle ruins in the west and to Dahn, the center of the rocky country.
