A small restaurant offers hot and cold dishes. A fountain supplies thirsty hikers with drinking water.

In summer, the Seibelseckle can be used as an alternative parking space and starting point for hikes to the Mummelsee and Hornisgrine, as it is very crowded, especially on weekends directly at the Mummelsee.

Wonderful starting point or destination for great hikes, whether towards Mummelsee or towards Darmstädter Hütte and on to Ruhestein or down to Wildsee 🌲 🥾

Good starting point for many hikes.
When you have climbed to the top you have a sensational view of the Black Forest and the Rhine plain.

One of the ski slopes on the B500. However, it is also the hub of many hiking and cycling trails.

At the parking lot there is a managed hut. Recommended for a rest.

Even as a non-skier it is nice to watch the hustle and bustle on the slope. The challenge is finding a parking space on Sunday, but you can park directly on the Schwarzwaldhochstraße. One should, however, be very relaxed and stay with the rush.

It is easy to get there by bus. For example, from Achern Bf on Sundays 8h32 to Hornisgrinde and then on the same bus further here.

Large parking and a working hut.
I did not find it charming in the summer - a bit like a motorway service area - and therefore did not turn up.

Small ski slope in winter ... be there early, otherwise parking spaces will be tight

Giant parking. Ski slope with lift. Starting point for many cross-country trails and hiking trails. Hut with catering SB.
