Especially with inversion weather you have a brilliant view here

Even as a non-skier it is nice to watch the hustle and bustle on the slope. The challenge is finding a parking space on Sunday, but you can park directly on the Schwarzwaldhochstraße. One should, however, be very relaxed and stay with the rush.

At the parking lot there is a managed hut. Recommended for a rest.

The toboggan run leads directly to the parking lot.

Large parking and a working hut.
I did not find it charming in the summer - a bit like a motorway service area - and therefore did not turn up.

Giant parking. Ski slope with lift. Starting point for many cross-country trails and hiking trails. Hut with catering SB.

Nice location. Since it is right on the B500, it can get very crowded. For the skiers: the track is reasonably fast for black forest conditions ;-)

It is easy to get there by bus. For example, from Achern Bf on Sundays 8h32 to Hornisgrinde and then on the same bus further here.
