The Naturgewalten tour is a circular walk through the Bösellbachtal and the Gutellbachtal and to the Ellbachsee in Mitteltal. Impressive along the route, the elemental power of storm and floods made clear. Along the two rivers, with plenty of opportunities to cool off with water even on hot summer the Ellbachstraße and over the Murgbrücke the route leads up to the Breitmiss. Enjoy the beautiful view of Ellbachtal. Soon you reach the particularly beautiful Bösellbachtal with the Ellbachbrunnen and the arch bridge, which was built in 1871. From there the path leads steadily uphill along the impressive cascades of Evil Ellbachs.Incidentally, the Bösellbach came to his name because he repeatedly caused a great deal of damage to the inhabitants of Mitteltal through numerous floods. In the course of time, however, these laid the Bösellbach terraced to curb the constant flooding. Today, this is especially nice to look at.Passing the Jakobbrunnen, you finally reach the Bösellbachhütte and the mysterious Sauerbrunnen. This is so yellow because it is a sulfur source.Continue uphill. Soon the highest point of the tour is reached. Here is a great viewpoint, a sky bed, which invites you to linger in good weather. Passing the Plon site, the route descends to the Upper Vault. Here the path branches off to the right and to a hidden waterfall. The Rosshimmel waterfall flows over a Karwand of a silted Karsees and leads very differently water. Depending on how much rain falls on the previous days, the waterfall can be roaring or just splashing gently. From the cauldron of the silted Karseen out, it goes uphill again briefly. After a few hundred meters you finally reach the idyllic Ellbachsee. Enjoy an extended rest on the lake shore. The Ellbachsee is one of the few Karseen, which are still filled with water. See here tip of the author. The hike leads through the Gutellbachtal again towards the Mitteltal. In the Gutellbach you can still see the devastating power with which the storm Lothar raged in 1999, among other things here. A little later one sees the mighty Ellbachtanne, which has stood up to this force of nature. Past fountains and springs you finally reach the creek of the Guten Ellbach, which is crossed on a footbridge. The path leads along the stream to the Rotwildgehege and the confluence of Gutem and Bösem Ellbach. Along the Ellbachs you finally reach the starting point of the hike. The trail offers interesting information through boards of the adventure path sources and plots.
