The Martinigarten is an approx. 1 hectare large public green space between the city park and the Spree promenade. It is also the central green area of the residential area in the area of the former industrial and later military site Henry Hall. For pedestrians and cyclists, it enables a direct route from the train station to the Spree and thus brings the Spree closer to the city. The new route connection strengthens environmentally friendly mobility and tourism. A long fallow area could finally be experienced and used by the public.
