Hiking

The pharmacy dates back to 1773 and was open until 1966. Afterwards, the interior was set up as a pharmacy museum. It is accessible to the public all year round (closed on Mondays). According to legend, the horn of a unicorn, which the pharmacist family brought to Klatovy in the mid-16th century, is said to have been kept here for centuries. However, the treasure that was thought to be in the "U Bílého jednorožce" (At the White Unicorn) pharmacy and can still be seen there today is not the horn of a mythical unicorn, but a narwhal tusk.
