The White Tower was built near the Deanery Church not far from the town square and served as a bell tower. Its upper floor was wooden, which burned down in 1689. The building was raised by one floor in 1758 and in 1898 a baroque portal from the dean's church was placed on the tower. The bells of the tower are the work of the bell founders P.A. Jacomini and K. Bellmann. The White Tower still serves as a bell tower and its sound announces services and the right time.
