The building of today's glass pavilion was erected in the 1960s. In 2012, the city of Klatovy bought it back from the Pilsen region and renovated it. The glass pavilion was ceremonially opened on August 15, 2014. It houses an exhibition of glass from the Bohemian Forest from the Lötz company, which is supplemented by temporary exhibitions.
