The Heinersdorfer Church, a stately field stone building with a retracted choir and semicircular apse, was probably built in the second half of the 13th century, i.e. still in the Templar period. The high, square west tower, which complements the house of worship into the so-called “complete system”, was added in the 14th and 15th centuries

The church was built in the 13th century under the influence of the Knights Templar. In the course of its history it has been damaged several times, but has been rebuilt, expanded and rebuilt again and again.
