Two sandstone sculptures belonging to the 1945 destroyed hotel and restaurant Trompeterschlösschen.

The two figures were restored in 2009 and placed at the exit of the Centrumsgalerie towards Dippoldiswalder Platz. This is what is written on the information board on the base of one of the figures. We also learn that these "two sandstone sculptures belonged to the Trompeterschlösschen restaurant and hotel. The Trompeterschlösschen was located here on Dippoldiswalder Platz until 1945. The sculptor Paul Polte created the sculptures in the first third of the 20th century in the neo-baroque style.
The year the Trompeterschlösschen was built is not known. It came into the possession of a field trumpeter's widow in 1653. She ran an inn there. Her son and heir was the electoral court and field trumpeter. The inn was named after him. During the Seven Years' War, the building was destroyed in 1759 and rebuilt in 1764. On February 13, 1945, the Trompeterschlösschen was destroyed for the second time during an air raid."
