Founded in 1827 and closed in 1997, the Carlshütte located in Büdelsdorf is not only an impressive industrial monument, but also offers an unusual ambience for cultural events of all kinds with its huge hall aisles, the restored ACO carriage house and the spacious park area.NordArt, which has been taking place in the summer months since 1999, is one of the largest annual exhibitions of contemporary art in Europe. NordArt is a judged exhibition that is redesigned annually as a total work of art. It offers a comprehensive panorama of international contemporary art in a special ambience.
