The Carlshütte artwork is a non-profit cultural initiative of the internationally active ACO Group and the cities of Büdelsdorf and Rendsburg and a special place for exhibitions, concerts, readings and cultural events. The centerpiece is the NordArt, which has taken place annually in the summer months since 1999.

In addition to the foundry halls with their 22,000 square meters of exhibition space, this includes the 80,000 square meter sculpture park and the ACO carriage depot.

In the large Carlshütte hall, works of art are exhibited as part of the Nordart nordart.de.

Hiking

With his head raised, he stands joyfully and lively in front of the entrance to the sculpture park of NordArt and welcomes visitors: sculptor Jo Kley created an abstract figure reminiscent of a small dog from black Labrador granite with glittering inclusions. The figure shows a clear design with polished surfaces, gentle curves and pointed foothills and thus looks almost like organically grown.
