In the middle of the Rendsburg Stadtsee, not far from the town hall and the theatre, three dazzling residents have settled: a brightly colored whale and two penguins. The whale is a full 8.20 meters long and consists of a stainless steel frame and 20,000 pieces of Plexiglas. It was first exhibited in 2016 at Bellevue Palace. The Rendsburger Stadtwerke acquired it for installation in the city lake and at the same time financed an art project in which the artist Dieter Erhard created the two other animals together with Rendsburger children. With the three guests from foreign countries, the city wants to present itself as a colorful and hospitable city.Data on the work:

I would not have thought that Rendsburg is so worth seeing. The whale🐳 and the penguins 🐧 are a great photo motif.
