Das Zellengefängnis Moabit bzw Lehrter Straße wurde in den 1840er Jahr unter König Friedrich Wilhelm IV als "Preußisches Mustergefängnis Moabit" errichtet & galt als modernes Gefängnis, weil die Gefangenen in Einzelzellen an Stelle der bis dahin üblichen Gemeinschaftszellen untergebracht wurden. Das Zellengefängnis wurde 1957/58 abgerissen & am 26.10.2006 wurde auf dem Gelände der Geschichtspark "Ehemaliges Zellengefängnis Moabit eröffnet.
