Panoramic viewpoint

The panoramic view point is 315m above sea level and is the highest point of the entire Rheingold Dream Loop. From here the viewer has an overview of the entire landscape. In the south you can see the wild and romantic narrow valley of the Rhine with the Ehrenthaler Werth island. At a height of approx. 200m above sea level you can see the level of the plateau valley. In front of the Hunsrück heights are the villages of Holzfeld and Rheinbay, picturesquely embedded in orchards made of old cherry trees, in the wide trough valley. In the northwest the Fleckertshöhe rises at 531m above sea level as the highest peak in the middle of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley. To the north you can see the castles Sterrenberg and Liebenstein ("Feindliche Brüder"), the Kühkopf TV tower and the foothills of the Westerwald. The view completes the diversity of the landscape
