The so-called sacrificial stones - specially shaped or worked stones - were often associated, especially in the 19th and early 20th centuries, with a bloody sacrificial cult of the Teutons, for which there is no evidence. In archeology terms such as grooved or shell stone are known. Folklore reports on "superstitious practices" of the rural population.

Especially at the beginning of the Celtic hiking trail you can see relics from Celtic times. The sacrificial stone is particularly impressive!

In snow everything was covered here and I almost wandered past. Has something mystical about snow and fog.
