Today our snow hike led to the Burberg. The somewhat steep and slippery ascent was rewarded with magnificent views. On the way back, however, we had to deviate from the actual route, as this was not passable due to the snow break.

Today we were on the Burgenstieg again and directly included the Burgenweier. Despite the very muddy paths, another great tour. Surefootedness is absolutely necessary in some places. Great views reward you for the sometimes strenuous climbs.

A bumpy forest path leads out of Meerfeld along the Ritzbach. Since this path is not often used, there are numerous tracks of game in today's snow and mud. It is advisable to keep hunting dogs on a leash. Once at the top, the path leads downhill to the road. We follow this up a short distance to the intersection and turn onto a tarred dirt road towards Landesblick. Below the Landesblick we hike back to Meerfeld

Today I visited one of my favorite places. The Wolfsschlucht with a lap on parts of the mindfulness path along the small Kyll is always beautiful. The individual stations of the mindfulness path invite you to pause and offer short meditation and mindfulness exercises.

Turned a worthwhile lap in beautiful weather. The Wendelinusweg is one of the "Heimatspuren" hiking trails and is highly recommended. The varied path leads mainly through mixed forest or past the edges of forests, fields and meadows. Unfortunately, a few changes to the route had to be made due to tree felling work.
