"Legende Drenge" (Playing Boys) is a well-known sculptural group in Odense.

The work was created by the sculptor Aksel Einar Utzon-Frank (1888–1955).

He was a prominent Danish artist who also designed the equestrian statue of Christian IX in Odense.

The sculptural group was erected in 1949.

It stands in the small square Jens Benzons Gade near Østre Stationsvej in downtown Odense.

The work depicts three naked boys in playful, dynamic poses.

The central figure has one arm stretched high above his head, while the other

two figures look up at him. The sculpture embodies joie de vivre and innocence.

The work is a popular landmark in the area and an example

of the figurative art that characterizes Odense.
