Attractions in Denmark

The fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen was among the residents of Nyhavn for a time.

Small place with a few nice shops. The view from Kro to Klit is for me the most beautiful in the region.

The renatured Filsø is easy to hike around and cycle around. Since one drives almost directly through the lake is a terrific nature experience, so to speak, pre-programmed.

Hvide Sande is a nice little place that has it all. Seals in the harbor, great boats, various shops and most importantly: the smokehouse! Delicious fish!

Even at night the guards walk their rounds and try to stay in sync across the roundabout.

If you come later in the evening it is quite quiet here and you actually have the statue to yourself. Overall, a little more inconspicuous than expected, but the beautiful play of light on the bronze makes up for it.

In the restoration area Filsø are many different and also rare species of birds at home. At the large lake of the bird sanctuary / nature reserve there is a lot of nice place for a break.

Always worth a trip!

The lighthouse is beautifully situated and you get a good impression of this narrow area. The staircase is beautiful as a snail. 228 steps lead up, entrance 50 dk.

Nice harbor, there is always something to see!

A useful bridge to connecting to Cykelslangen (The Bike Snake/Tube) bridge

At least the bike path between the small harbor at Svinkvej to Bork Havn has been renovated. The track is great to ride on solid sand - much better than the gravel road before.

Super smooth asphalt allows brisk driving - but be careful, the route is well frequented in both directions.

It is the northernmost point of Denmark! There you can stand with one leg in the Skagerrak and with the other in the Kattegat. A great experience to be there!

Very beautiful natural spectacle. Especially in the morning, with little audience recommended. Do not bathe, as the currents are clearly noticeable even at the ankle.
