The one-man bunker, also known as the "cooking bunker", was intended to provide shelter for a Panzerfaust gunner during World War II.
Many of these were built in the Bienwald in the autumn of 1944.

The one-man bunker was intended to provide short-term protection for the Panzerfaustschützen. This construction was also called "Kocherbunker" after the inventor Erich Koch (Gauleiter of East Prussia).
