The former anti-tank ditch begins behind the old station building Schaidt and ends at the Bienwald. At that time the armored ditches around Schaidt had a length of several kilometers. Today, however, only about 600 meters are available and this 'pond' is used by the Schaidter fishing club as a fish pond, a beautiful calm waters.

The anti-tank ditch of the West Wall near Schaidt begins at the edge of the terrain behind Schaidt station and runs from there over a length of 570 meters to the edge of the Bienwald.
