Entry to the colorful castle tower is only possible in combination with a ticket for the museum. You can still visit both independently. The museum is really worth a visit - even with children. It is very varied. Each room has a different theme, e.g. musical instruments, coin minting, weapons... There is even a small old cinema. My 6-year-old son was thrilled!

Very pretty little town on the Vltava with lots of little shops and restaurants/cafés right on the Vltava. Beautiful. And with a big castle.
