Freedom Square is the largest square in Bosnia and Herzegovina, on whose territory there is a reconstructed Baroque building from the Austro-Hungarian period. An archaeological site with very significant remains of archaeological material was discovered on the square. The space is arranged for socializing and various events, and it is decorated with a central fountain with accompanying content.

The central place on the square is occupied by a large fountain whose outer walls are decorated with stećak ornaments, but these are not the only symbols of medieval Bosnia on Freedom Square.
