Tuzla boasts the largest park area in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The City Park is located in the pedestrian zone of Tuzla's historic center. It features granite-paved walkways and benches for resting and relaxing. Monuments inspired by the Bosnian Middle Ages have been placed in the City Park, and a statue of the first Bosnian king, Tvrtko I Kotromanić, stands in the center. A stone obelisk, engraved with the text of the Kulin Ban Charter, has also been erected. The bridge provides a high-quality pedestrian connection between the Central City Park and the Pannonian Lakes. It connects the two largest pedestrian areas in the city center: the Slana Banja complex and the historic city center.
