Hiking

The King's Gate was built into the city wall next to the narrow Wörlinstorle in 1822. Until then, there was no gate on the north side of the city that could be passed through by carts, apart from the Upper Gate. It was named in honor of King Wilhelm I of Württemberg. In the days when the city was an imperial city, citizens would walk through the Wörlinstorle to the Schießrain to practice shooting.
