BY: Bodenmais - Rieslochwasserfälle - Mittagsplatzerl - Großer Arbersee

Start war direkt beim Hotel Natura, Bodenmais. Es ging ca. 6,5km moderat aufwärts. Nach ca. 3,5km erreichten wir die wunderschönen Rieslochwasserfälle. Vom Mittagsplatzerl, dem höchsten Punkt dieser Tour, genießt man einen tollen Ausblick Richtung Bayerisch Eisenstein und weiter nach Tschechien. Ab hier geht es hauptsächlich auf Forstwegen, aber auch auf Wanderpfaden gleichmäßig und knieschonend hinab bis zum Ziel, dem Großen Arbersee. Für die Rückfahrt nach Bodenmais nutzen wir den Dank Aktiv Card kostenlosen Bus 6195.

Cycle along excellent cycle paths from Schwandorf to Steinberger See, walk around it, and cycle back. The lake offers numerous sports opportunities, such as pedal boating, surfing, wakeboarding, adventure golf, and a climbing park.

A beautiful hike along the Gertelbach stream up to the waterfalls. Wildly romantic with all the mossy stones along and in the stream. Definitely worth a hike in summer, too. However, it's very busy on weekends and holidays, so it's best to visit on weekdays.
