It was installed in the summer of 2024. The night watchman ensured that the city gates remained locked at night, maintained peace and order, and alerted the residents in case of fire.
The Silver Trail in Freiberg is an themed trail that leads through the city center and features eleven larger-than-life silver figures depicting the history of the city and its mining industry.
