While searching for a dignified burial plot for a friend, I visited the Friedwald cemetery. A truly beautiful final resting place where one can become one with nature. A path leads into the forest, where the burial trees are marked with ribbons and numbered plaques. At the entrance, there's a signpost that helps you locate the trees on a map. They also kindly provide maps to take with you, making it easier to locate trees. All graves are easily accessible via the central path and, for short stretches, over the natural ground. In some places, you can see the Bevertalsperre glimmering between the trees.
