The Drongenhof Chapel (or Norbertine Chapel) is a late Gothic chapel of the former refuge house of the Norbertine Abbey of Drongen. Above the entrance, the facade features glazed bricks that indicate the year 1607. One of the stained glass windows is by artist Wim Delvoye.
The artwork ‘Honte, 2018-2019’ by Ghent artist Berlinde De Bruyckere, who rented the chapel from the city for three years in 2021, can also be seen here.
The chapel is opened several times a year so that visitors can enjoy the artwork. The chapel is open to the public at regular times.
There is also work by Dirk Braeckman on display.

Until recently, you could view Wim Delvoye's stained glass window, which is based on X-ray images of couples engaging in sexual acts, through a hole in the gate.
That peephole has now been closed...
