Towering high above the city of Kleve is the Swan Castle, an impressive castle with roots in the 11th century and a rich history full of knights, dukes and legends. The iconic Swan Tower refers to the mythical Swan Knight Helias, and from the castle you can look out over the Rhine Valley and the surrounding hilly landscape. Today the building houses a court and a museum, but the atmosphere of times gone by still hangs in the air.
