First checked on the cemetery and then on to the hospital in Herten to enjoy coffee and cake with Silles Papa in Café Sonne 😌

This was such a really nice typical Sauerland round 🥾🥾
In super beautiful weather, almost completely on the N2, which runs around Neuenrade. I hiked 3 or 4 extra loops and that was a good thing 😉 A few km on the high-fly were also included 🥾🥾

After spending yesterday in the holiday home due to continuous rain 😩, we had to go somewhere today.
And the historic old town of Franeker was exactly the right choice. Small, fine, old, beautiful 🤗

Cozy loop through forest, fields, and meadows. Along many narrow paths, we walked from Kasteel Ruurlo, where there is also a free parking lot, through plenty of nature, past lots of water (unfortunately dried up😞), and a good stretch on the Klompenpaden. In cool, overcast, and damp air, it was a beautiful autumn tour 🍁🇳🇱👫
