Nice, little village church. The church is a baroque half-timbered building with a three-sided eastern end and a western, eight-sided tower. The tower with its tail hood is covered with wooden cladding.

After the predecessor building had become dilapidated, the church was rebuilt in 1783 in half-timbered construction. She was consecrated to Saint Mary.

The altar of the church dates from before the Reformation. On the sides of the altar are Saint Stephen and the namesake of the building. There is a pulpit above the altar, which was probably located on a side wall of the building in the past. Since the entrance to the pulpit looks like the frame for an altarpiece, it is assumed that an altarpiece was placed at this point.
