The medieval church of St. Sebald in Nuremberg, also known as St. Sebald's Church (after the Einsiedler Sebaldus, probably living in the area of Nuremberg in the 8th century), is the oldest parish church in Nuremberg and next to the Frauenkirche and the Lorenzkirche one of the city's most outstanding churches. It lies on the way to the castle north just above the main market and just west of the town hall. Amazingly rich, the interior has been preserved. Since the Reformation, the church of St. Sebaldus, in addition to the Lorenzkirche church, is one of Nuremberg's two major Protestant churches, which today belong to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria.(Https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Sebald_(N%C3%BCrnberg))
