St. Pauli Landungsbrücken (Bridge 6)

At Brücke 10 you can get delicious fresh fish sandwiches with ice-cold Astra and a great view of the Hamburg harbor and the sunsets! Always worth a visit!

St. Pauli Landungsbrücken Pier (Bridge 6)The "Landungsbrücken" (Landing Bridges) are a mooring point for a wide variety of ships: both ferries and HADAG steamers dock here – not to mention the harbor tour boats, and occasionally large luxury cruise ships. However, the approximately 700-meter-long floating pier is not only popular with boaters. Both visitors to the city and locals can be seen strolling along the inviting promenade lined with quaint fish restaurants, snack bars, and souvenir shops.The first pontoons, primarily providing mooring space for steamships, were built as early as 1839. The facility was expanded between 1907 and 1909, but was severely damaged during World War II. The pier was therefore renovated between 1953 and 1955 and has been a magical attraction for the city ever since.
