Explore partly unknown territory from the comfort of your home. Not ideal to buy later because it was partly across meadows, across the woods and across the fields. Partly no ways!

The lawn hadn't grown significantly, the fence had already been trimmed and so it was time to run one of the wheels Räder

Today was just too windy for us to cycle. But walking by the water was a good alternative gute. Is a long but easy to walk round. But in places there is also a lot going on on this route.

Sunday tour around the rain. We were really lucky! You saw dark clouds that gave off their water, but luckily it didn't hit us uns. Nice little side streets and coffee and cake at Aunt Anne's at the end. We left out some things like Langsee and Idstedter See because the rain clouds came too close to us. There are plenty of opportunities to take a break on the route. Soils mainly small roads and field and forest paths.

After a week in the Thuringian Forest without any wind, today another home tour with typical North German weather Wind in gusts up to 60km / h but still dry. On small paths we cheated against the wind to the church in Kahleby. Then come back a little more relaxed. We crossed the Loiter / Füsinger Au several times. It was easy to see on her that it hadn't rained extensively for a long time. Small round starting in medium fishing on small and very small paths.

Hike over the Schneekopf. This is Thuringia's highest vantage point with 978mtr. The lap we did requires good footwear and a certain degree of step resistance. It's pretty steep down from the Schneekopf! It's more relaxed from the railway line. From Gehlberg it goes up again. Great views on the way. It is also nice that there is a lot of hiking on small and very small trails. Hardly any forest motorway there. Refreshments on the Schneekopf and in Gehlberg.

Take a bike to the Wartburg and cruise through Eisenach. Eisenach is of course Luther! Luther streets, Luther cafes, the Luther house, the Luther workshop, etc. Achja Bach also lived here for some time. Lots of nice old houses, fountains and churches. All of this could be explored perfectly by bike! We partially ignored the very, very many one-way streets😎. A beautiful city for which half a day was more than enough. As already mentioned under "Drachenschlucht": Free parking in Marienthal Straße is the third car park der

Tour 2 of today (after the dragon gorge) With the bikes up to the Wartburg. You could already guess where all the people had gone. There was a lot going on here! The free (!!!!) Wartburg visited in peace. (Aha ... to visit the premises in the buildings then cost something) But due to Corona, we failed to do that. The castle is also our highlight of the day! Everything in top condition, beautiful views, etc. If you ever end up in Eisenach, you should definitely visit the Wartburg. You can park your car right in front of the door. The castle can also be easily reached by bike or on foot.

Eisenach, Wartburg and Drachenschlucht were on the program today. (Therefore the tours are divided into thirds today) First of all, on foot to and into the Dragon Gorge. First surprise: no entry fee whatsoever. Unusual where in the north there is a cash for every rubbish! Besides, there wasn't too much going on for a Sunday Sonntag. So we could take our time to look at everything and let this gorge affect us a little. So much: absolutely worth seeing! Tip: The last parking lot in front of the Drachenschlucht is free and is very suitable for all tours!
