It is said that from 1803 Friedrich maintained a summer apartment in what was then the village of Loschwitz. The area was already popular with guests and artists back then. The charm of Loschwitz can still be felt today. Not only because of the “Blue Wonder” and the oldest mountain railway in the world, but also because of the varied vineyard landscape up to Pillnitz. Great for a walk along the banks of the Elbe.
