Since it was supposed to stay dry today, we cycled to the Rosencafé at Kloster Brunshausen near Bad Gandersheim.
For refreshment, we had delicious cake and coffee. We cycled back to Alfeld through the beautiful spring landscape with a fresh breeze.

After gardening, we cycled through the Leinetal valley to Gronau to relax our backs. In Gronau, the ice cream parlor was well attended, and we also got an ice cream to go. On the way back via Banteln, we saw the storks in their nests.

For digestion, we hiked through the NSG Lieth near Freden on Easter Monday. The tour continued to the wind turbine at the Sandkuhlen and past the former Röhnkrug inn. With blue skies and sunshine, we had many beautiful views of the villages and the wide landscape.

On Easter Sunday, we went for a hike with friends. We had beautiful views of the Leinetal. The oxbow lake of the Leine can also be circumnavigated on one side and has some beautiful birdhouses to admire.

Before heading to the grandchildren, we hiked up our local mountain in the early afternoon. Since we have been to the tower many times, we immediately continued in an arc to the 52nd parallel. It was a beautiful tour with great views of the countryside and the villages.
