From the hiking parking lot in Holzen to the kiosk on the Ith and back on the other side is always a nice round 👍
Many motorcyclists had stopped at the kiosk for a break.
There was flight activity at the glider airfield today, so crossing was not allowed.

We took a look at the beautiful Schwanenteich (swan pond) in Mühlhausen and then cycled on great bike paths to Niederdorla, to the center of Germany. Today we mainly hiked on the Da5 trail to the Hunnesrück ruins. We had many great views of the wide landscape. We really enjoyed the loop. There was no opportunity to stop for refreshments, but we had packed food with us 😉

Since we had something to do in Schildhorst, we first cycled there via Wetteborn. The route continued on the Leine/Heide cycle path with a stopover in Freden for an ice cream. Afterwards, our destination was Rheden for the Landschlachterei, where a swim in the Kiessee Brüggen provided cooling.

The fourth generation of our family is now holidaying at Südsee Camp. Today we visited our grandchildren at the camp and looked at what has changed since we ourselves were campers here.
