Even if, unfortunately, only the base of the ruins of the once architecturally extraordinary Wolf Hill Tower with spiral staircase and open column and arch structures from 1912 is left, you can also enjoy an unbelievable distant view of the Elbe Valley and the striking silhouette of the city of Dresden from the ground.

The name probably originated from a wolf enclosure, which should have been here from the 16th century. There are still the remains of a stone observation tower, which unfortunately was blown up in 1945 by the Wehrmacht.

The former lookout tower on the Wolf Hill from 1886 was initially a steel lookout scaffolding. In 1912 it was replaced by a 10 meter high, stone tower and destroyed in 1945.
