In the 1920s, the nature lover and globetrotter Georg Haack, called Haacks Köppche, created a nature reserve in the Morshausen municipal forest, with which he expressed his veneration for the poet Hermann Löns, because Löns wanted to set up such a nature reserve in the Harz Mountains , The park was set up with a lot of effort and support from the local population and was inaugurated in June 1929. Haack also lived there. Individual remains of the wall still remind of it.
