According to dendrochronological research, the half-timbered house was built in 1642. Nothing is known about the history of its origins. It has been owned by the family since 1880, hence the name Jülich Haus. The renovations made in the 1970s were reversed in 2021/22, so that the old structure of the house now prevails again. The old structure, consisting of wooden floors, clay walls and ceilings, has been carefully restored to its heritage standards.
