Under the bulky name "Grünzug Zangenstraße" the first construction phase was opened on 03.11.2018. It covers a few hundred meters between the Rheinische Bahn / RS1 and the Segeroth Park. The paved road is once the university with the station Altenessen on the still-preserved "Krupp-Bahn" connect.
