Apart from the possibility of having a refreshment at the Haldenhof, you can choose between descending towards Münstertal, the small Wiesental or ascending to the Kreuzweg.

By the way, you can also stay overnight at the Haldenhof; I did it myself a few years ago.As a starting point for racing cyclists, however, with “a lot of chili” to come “home” after a tour: No matter where you come from, it’s always uphill (coming from Badenweiler, after the climb, it’s downhill to here).

I can't rate the restaurant itself, but the location at the important intersection with the (only) crossing from the Münstertal either left down via Neuenweg into the small Wiesental or a few meters more over the Kreuzweg pass and then down to Badenweiler makes the restaurant closed an important hub in the region.
