The ascent to the Kälbelescheuer is equally popular with hikers, mountain bikers and racing cyclists. The latter need a lot of muscle strength in the calves and thighs, because here many meters of altitude have to be overcome before the goal is reached at 1040 meters above sea level. But the panoramic view of the Rhine Valley rewards the exertion. If you want it to be easier, but no less beautiful: An asphalt road that can be driven on by car leads up to the Kälbelescheuer alpine inn.
