Charming little road

This inconspicuous side road branches off from the Böllenbachtal in a sharp curve. Very narrow, but very well paved (04/2020), the route climbs gently to moderately in the valley to Wildböllen, then it goes a little steeper and up through the forest until you can roll on an almost flat stretch to the high point above Schönenberg . The journey to Schönenberg is quick. Shortly before the place there is a very sharp serpentine. Down to Schönau it rolls well again. A very recommendable alternative to the country road through the Böllenbachtal, on which it rolls nicely, but which cannot keep up with this alternative in terms of scenic beauty and of course bonus meters in altitude. Of course, the route is also beautiful in the opposite direction. The ascent from Schönau is, however, much more robust than that over Wildböllen.
