So, today I didn't want to miss any of the bigger climbs in the Kaiserstuhl - Vogelsangpass is currently outside due to construction work.
In this way, you can collect a good meter of altitude in the fairly clear Kaiserstuhl.

The wind from northern directions is quite poisonous today - I would have preferred some beautiful mountains up to Lahr than the constant air brake. But then it was all the more beautiful down the Elztal - pushed by the stiff tailwind, you could whiz along almost at professional speed.

Thanks to the summer season, a nice tour up to the Kandel in golden evening light is easy even after a normal working day - and, for whatever reason, there was a calm on the route this evening that was completely unusual. Just 3 (!) Motorcycle colleagues, and they also chilled, plus five cars on the entire driveway - otherwise only birdsong and the sound of the (cold) wind in the trees - fantastic!

The round over the Schönberg and over the Ringlihof up to Horben definitely plays in the Champions League of the most beautiful after-work rounds at the top.
Great if you have such opportunities right on your doorstep!

Thanks to a lucky hand when it came to choosing a route, we sailed well against the wind today - as if by itself.

What wonderful Father's Day weather! So the decision between alcohol abuse or a nice 200 was pretty easy - the cool beer has to wait until the evening.
Wonderful calm and perfect temperature in the morning, later somewhat fuller streets especially in the area of the Wutach Gorge and of course on the Feldberg - but overall quite tolerable.

He's loyal this year, the wind! And as usual when cycling, mostly from the front (at least felt). I prefer the altitude to climb up rather than the hard headwind on the panorama route between Thurner and St.Peter. But well, whining at a high level - the weather was otherwise great, of course, and headwind definitely strengthens the character.

A little roundabout over the candelabra was still in there.
Nice again today, although of course a few others came up on Saturday afternoon and by no means just cyclists. Still gratifying: Although there was motorbike traffic, this year you are still quite civilized. Thumbs up for that!

And bye ice saints, pack yourself away Cold Sophie - and a nice greeting to the cold of the sheep, this year shouldn't bother and just stay at home, beyond the Arctic Circle!
