In the southwestern part of the park, north of the Parkstadion, is the Trift Cemetery, a grove of honor. There, the city commemorates the victims of the Franco-Prussian War, as well as the First and Second World Wars. The grove can be accessed from Jüterboger Straße. The first field commemorates the fallen soldiers of the Red Army. Next to the names of the victims, the inscription on a granite block reads:

"The glory of the heroes / who fell in battle / for the socialist homeland / will not fade / and for centuries / their heroism will live on / in the hearts of / millions of working people."

Another field, separated by a hedge and featuring a white obelisk, commemorates the German victims of the Second World War. Adjoining it to the west is a rectangular field dedicated to the victims of the Franco-Prussian War and over 160 victims of the First World War. In addition to the gravestones, it consists of a stone lion in the center of the grove and a statue in the western area depicting the goddess of victory, Victoria.
