Eine schöne Tour, passend nach dem üppigen Weihnachtsessen. Das Wetter war mit ca. 1 Grad perfekt und der Boden kaum rutschig. Schön war auch, dass wir zu 11 Uhr Peter und Paul erreichten, wo die Glocken ein Weihnachtslied spielten. Beim Flensburger Löwen machten wir Rast im " Seehasen". Den anschließenden Weg nach Griebnitzsee fanden die Beine ganz allein...

Quasi als Weihnachtsgeschenk hatten wir heute vielleicht den besten Stadterklärer von Görlitz, den ich mir vorstellen konnte: Frank Vater. Er sprach mit sehr viel Liebe von der Geschichte seiner Heimatstadt, ordnete sie in die wirtschaftliche und politische Entwicklung ein. Er schleppte uns durch zig Hallenhäuser und erklärte uns die Arbeit des Denkmalschutzes. Mehrere Görlitz-Führer hat er geschrieben. Topp!!
