Tips
Information board about the Rotbroek that you enter here. A little further, near the Demer, you will find a second sign. The Rotbroek was always a floodplain with thick layers of peat until desiccation hit. There is still seepage and slope peat and efforts are being made to reduce desiccation. Rotbroek is part of the Webbekomsbroek-Borchbeemden nature reserve. You will also find a bench seat here and can walk to the Demer and other "pants".

After (or during) a rainy period it can be very boggy or muddy in certain places. Appropriate footwear and long trousers (sometimes a lot of nettles along the walking path) are recommended.
