Since April 2019, Demer water has once again flowed through the meander in Vinkenberg between Diest and Scherpenheuvel-Zichem. It is the first of 30 historical meanders that will be connected back to the Demer in the coming years. A historic moment.
The works are part of the Demer Valley Sigma project and implement the integrated vision of Demervallei and Laak, which was signed during the 2016 Demer Day.
