We really enjoyed our stay at Trekkingcamp Keltenlager. After a simple reservation, we enjoyed our somewhat hidden stay here during our bikepacking trip on the Gravelbike-Saarlandrunde.
In the middle of nature, it was completely quiet. You do need to bring your own provisions, such as food and drink, and take your waste back to the valley afterwards. The place is tidy, so I suspect most visitors adhere to this.
There are two camping spots that are out of sight of each other. There is also a compost toilet that looked tidy.

Trekking Camp Keltenlager – Comfort in the Middle of the Forest 🌲🏕️
At first, we were a bit skeptical about the tent platforms, but we quickly realized they were a real comfort boost, especially as a comfortable seating option. The surrounding forest is simply stunning and makes the camp a special place for nature lovers.
